Oil-Immersed Distribution Transformer Overview:

The S9 series transformers are basic oil-immersed three-phase transformers with a rated capacity of 30KVA to 250OKVA, suitable for power systems operating at6 KV to 11KV. The design can be customized according to customer needs.     Beike offers high-performance pole mounted distribution transformers, available in both single-phase and three-phase configurations. These transformers are designed to shorten low-voltage distribution lines, reduce line losses, and enhance power supply quality. Featuring a high-efficiency, energy-saving core structure, they are compact in size, require minimal infrastructure investment, and significantly cut low-voltage line losses by over 60%.

Built with a fully sealed structure, the transformers deliver strong overload capacity, high operational reliability, and easy maintenance. They are ideal for rural power grids, remote mountainous areas, dispersed villages, agricultural applications, and general lighting and power use. Additionally, they support energy-saving upgrades in railway and urban power systems.

Engineered with advanced technology and made from premium materials and components, our pole mounted distribution transformers ensure long service life and dependable performance.

Efficiency Oil Immersed Hermetically Sealed Three Phase Pole Mounted Distribution Transformer

Three Phase Oil Immersed Transformer features:

Oil Tank: Corrugated oil tanks with a fully sealed structure, where corrugated panels provide heat dissipation and expansion functions, automatically adjusting with temperature, load size, and oil level changes. This design ensures complete isolation of transformer oil from air and eliminates maintenance needs throughout the transformer's life.

Excellent Safety performance: the pressure release valve is installed on the fully sealed transformer, which expands the application range of the pressure release valve, and increases the safety protection of the transformer.

Tap-changer: it is adopting double-sealed vertical switch, which improves the sealing performance of the switch.

Fastening: select the new type of lock nut to ensure that the transformer body is tight and not loose during transportation.

Features:

    Compact and lightweight design

Available with or without off-circuit tap changer

Steepwave structure for enhanced impulse voltage withstand capability

Equipped with arcing horns or lightning arresters for added protection

Integrated fuse options for improved safety

Highly customizable to meet specific application needs

Pole Mounted Distribution Transformer Advantage:

High Efficiency: High quality materials and advanced manufacturing processes provide efficient electrical energy conversion and reduced energy loss.

Good Stability: Excellent temperature rise characteristics and voltage stability ensure reliable power system operation

Long Service Life: High-quality insulation and high-temperature resistant conductor materials extend service life

Operation environment

    Altitude: ≤1000 meters.

    Ambient temperature: Maximum +40°C

The highest monthly average relative humidity: 90% (20 °C)

Installation environment: No obvious and heavy pollution, no explosive and corrosive gas and dust, with good air ventilation and no severe vibration and shock.

FAQ

Q1. What are the primary applications for Pole-Mounted Distribution Transformers?

A: Pole-mounted transformers are specifically designed for space-saving power distribution in rural power grids, residential areas, and construction sites. They are mounted on utility poles to step down high-voltage (e.g., 11kV, 20kV, 33kV) to low-voltage for direct consumer use.

Q2. What does "Hermetically Sealed" mean for the transformer's life?

A: A Hermetically Sealed design means the transformer oil is completely isolated from the outside atmosphere. This prevents oxygen and moisture from entering the tank, eliminating oil oxidation and sludge formation. This results in a maintenance-free service life and significantly reduces the need for oil testing.

Q3. How do you achieve the "High Efficiency" rating for these units?

A: Our efficiency levels (such as S13, S20, or S22 equivalent) are achieved by using high-permeability, grain-oriented cold-rolled silicon steel (CRGO) for the core and high-purity oxygen-free copper for the windings. This minimizes both no-load and load losses, meeting modern "Green Grid" requirements.

Q4. What are the advantages of the Corrugated Tank design?

A: The Corrugated Tank features flexible cooling fins that expand and contract to accommodate the thermal expansion of the oil. This replaces the traditional conservator tank, making the unit more compact, lighter, and easier to install on a pole.

Q5. Are these transformers resistant to outdoor corrosion?

A: Yes. Every unit from our Shanxi factory undergoes a rigorous surface treatment: shot blasting followed by multi-layer anti-corrosive powder coating or hot-dip galvanization (upon request). This ensures excellent resistance to UV, salt spray, and extreme weather.

Q6. What safety and protection devices are included?

A: Standard configurations include high-voltage and low-voltage bushings, an oil level indicator, a pressure relief valve, and an earthing terminal. We can also integrate Lightning Arresters and Drop-out Fuses on the mounting bracket for enhanced system protection.

Q7. What is the standard Vector Group and Voltage Ratio?

A: Our standard three-phase models typically use Dyn11 or Yyn0. We support a wide range of voltage ratios (e.g., 11kV/400V, 33kV/415V) and provide an Off-Circuit Tap Changer (OCTC) with a range of $\pm 2 \times 2.5\%$ for voltage regulation.

Q8. How do you ensure the transformer is leak-proof during shipping?

A: We perform a positive pressure leak test on every tank at our factory. For international shipping, we use reinforced steel-framed packaging and secure the bushings to prevent vibration damage during long-distance transit.

Q9. What testing standards do your pole-mounted transformers comply with?

A: All transformers are manufactured and tested in accordance with IEC 60076 or ANSI/IEEE standards. Before leaving the factory, each unit undergoes a full Routine Test, including insulation resistance, voltage ratio, and loss verification.

Q10. Can you customize the mounting brackets for different pole types?

A: Yes. As a direct manufacturer, we can customize the mounting hangers or brackets to fit square, round, or H-frame poles according to your local utility standards (e.g., DIN, NEMA).
