XGN2-12 Box-Type Fixed Metal-Enclosed Switchgear

Overview XGN2-12 box-type fixed metal switchgear (referred to as switchgear), used for   3.6, 7.2, 12KV three-phase AC 50Hz system as the acceptance and distribution of power, especially suitable for frequent operation of the occasion, the busbar system for the single-bus (and can be derived from a single-bus with a bypass and double-bus structure). The switchgear meets the requirements of national standard GB3906"3-35KV AC metal-enclosed switchgear "and international standard EC298, and achieves the function    of "five-proof" locking. The main switch of this switchgear cabinet adopts ZN28A-12 or ZN22-12 series vacuum circuit breaker with CD17A electromagnetic operating mechanism and CT19B spring operating mechanism, and the disconnecting switch adopts GN30-12 rotary disconnecting switch GN22-10 high current disconnecting switch series products.

Structural Characteristics

XGN2-12 switchgear cabinet is a metal-enclosed box structure,the skeleton of the cabinet is welded by angle steel,and the cabinet is divided into disconnecting room,busbar room,cable room,relay room,etc.,and the rooms are separated from each other by steel plates.


1.The breaker room is in the front lower part of the cabinet,the rotation of the circuit breaker is connected to the operating mechanism by a tie rod,the upper circuit breaker terminal is connected to the upper disconnecting switch,the lower circuit breaker terminal is connected to the current transformer,and the current transformer is connected to the lower disconnecting switch terminal,and the breaker room is also equipped with a pressure release channel,so that if internal arcing occurs,the gas can be used to release the pressure through the exhaust channel.


2.Bus room in the upper rear of the cabinet, in order to reduce the height of the cabinet, the bus was zigzag arrangement to 7350N bending strength of the porcelain insulator support, bus and the upper isolation switch terminals are connected to the adjacent two cabinets can be isolated between the bus room.


3.Cable room in the lower rear of the cabinet, cable room support insulator can be equipped with voltage monitoring devices, cable fixed in the bracket,for the main junction for the liaison program, this room is the liaison cable room, relay room in the upper front of the cabinet, indoor mounting plate can be installed to install a variety of relays, etc., the room has a terminal row bracket, the door can be installed to indicate the instrumentation, signaling components,such as secondary components, the top of the secondary can also be arranged. The secondary busbar can also be arranged on the top.


4.Circuit breaker operating mechanism is installed in the front left position, above which is  the operation and interlocking mechanism of the disconnecting switch, the switchgear cabinet is double-sided maintenance, the front overhaul secondary components of the relay room, maintenance of the operating mechanism, mechanical interlocking and transmission parts, overhaul of circuit breakers, the back maintenance of the main bus and cable terminals, in the circuit breaker room is equipped with lighting, the lower part of the front door is equipped with a copper bus parallel to the direction of the width of the cabinet to the grounding of the cross-section is 4x40mm.


5.Mechanical interlocking: In order to prevent the loaded disconnecting switch, to prevent the mis-splitting and mis-closing of the circuit breaker, to prevent the mis-entry of the energized intervals; to prevent the energized grounding switch; to prevent the grounding   knife to close the gate, the switchgear adopts the corresponding mechanical interlocking, and the principle of the mechanical interlocking action is as follows:


(1) Outage operations (operation and maintenance)


The switchgear is in working position, i.e.the upper and lower isolating switches and circuit breakers are in the closed state, the front and rear doors have been locked and are in electrified operation. At this time, the small handle is in the working position, the circuit breaker will be tripped first, then the small handle will be inserted into the lower isolating operation hole and pulled down from the top, pulling it to the lower isolated position, take the handle down and insert it into the upper isolating operation hole, pulling it from the top, pulling it to the upper isolating position, and then take the operation handle down and insert it into the earthing switch operation hole, pushing it from the bottom upwards, so that the earthing switch is in the closed position.Then take down the operation handle, insert it into the operation hole of the grounding switch, push it upward from below,so that the grounding switch is in the closing position, then you can pull the small handle to the "overhaul" position, you can open the front door first, and take out the key behind the door to open the back door. After the blackout operation is completed, the maintenance personnel will carry out maintenance and overhaul of the circuit breaker room and cable room.


(2)Power supply operation(maintenance-operation)


If the maintenance has been completed and the power needs to be sent, the operation procedure is as follows: close the back door, take out the key and close the front door, pull the small handle from the "maintenance"position to the"break locking"position, at this time, the front door is locked and the circuit breaker can not be closed.
